Looking for a licensed experienced residential and commercial service plumber to join an existing company that is transitioning to a new identity and a new way of doing business. My company has been around since 1946 but it was time to bring into the 21st century and instead of following what other companies are doing its time to lead.
We do not do new construction and we do not do a lot of remodel jobs. The jobs are 80% service and we try to not do more than two to three jobs per day. The more jobs you do in a day the less money we both make. There are weekend rotations and I’d love to have someone willing to work a later shift during the week every couple of weeks.
We pay our technicians a weekly base salary and once a certain revenue threshold has been hit we switch it over to full commission. My formula is very simple, I don’t take out materials, I don’t charge for invoices, etc. None of the usual salary games you see a lot of companies do that are only set up to cheat you. If you generate a lot of revenue and have minimum call backs you can make good money here. I want you to do well and in turn our company will do well.
We have 14” Isuzu NPR diesel trucks that can carry a lot of inventory and if you are organized, that gives you a lot of opportunity to service the customer correctly the first time with minimal trips to the supply house and it also gives you the opportunity to up sell the customer on faucets, toilets, and water heaters.
You need to be able to run a backhoe and trencher, have most of your own tools, be clean shaven with a minimum of tattoos and facial hair. We will do a criminal background check and drug screening before you start. We supply clean uniforms, shoe covers, work mats and you need to have the attitude that you will treat the customers’ home better than you would treat your own mothers.
